Hello, I’m Aaron, I am 23 years old. Currently working as a engineer at Vodafone UK; investigating and restoring failing network elements and escalated complex customer faults across the network. I am responsible for ensuring customers service level agreements (SLA) are achieved for all in-Service technology services using end-to-end incident management process. Previously; I provided operational support as part of the OEHE Second Line team at IT computer manufacture & service operator Fujitsu. Alongside this position; I also worked within available free time at previous employer Revium Group (Retail Marketing Group) – this was in order to assist with vital support and ensure that the companies IT infrastructure remains operating to a high standard. I am a hard working individual who strives to take everything to my best ability. I like to learn and push myself to pick up new skills and abilities, whether that be whilst in work – or going the extra mile outside of the work place. I am always keen to challenge myself in order to complete a project or a task.
Fault Investigation Engineer

Continuing to work at current full time employment at Fujitsu in my 2nd Line Support position.
I am also working at previous employer Revium Group (Retail Marketing Group) - this is in order to assist with vital support and ensure that the companies IT infrastructure remains operating to a high standard.

My responsibilities within this role included:
Monitoring and responding to events relating to the infrastructure, out of hours 1st and 2nd line support for Heightened/Critical Users, management of Major Incidents, patching & actioning changes across estate.
This position involved liaising with multiple departments across the organisation; to ensuring high priority and important tasks we’re managed promptly. Estate level changes we’re frequently actioned; including rollouts software updates & hot fixes.

In July 2014, my role was progressed to a IT Support Coordinator role, this involved much of previous Apprentice tasks - however with higher responsibility & ownership.
During this time, a crucial server & systems migration was put forward and rolled out.
In August 2016, I returned to Retail Marketing Group for a short period on a part time temp basis whilst still working full time with Fujitsu - to assist in reducing work load and handing prior to new starter joining.

I’m interested in a wide range of technologies – from IOT devices and how this will impact day to day life to Mobile Network Spectrum allocation and rollout and EPOS system’s within stores. Alongside my usual support roles; I spend an large amount of time researching new technologies and systems which help me understand better both my day to day tasks and future projects. In my down time I enjoy travelling, discovering new artists/genres of music and exploring with my motorbike.
