Achievements

Contactless – Apple / Android Pay Since the rollout of Contactless payment; more recently the release of Apple & Android Pay – I have been a strong advocate for the increased availability within stores, online, mobile applications & self checkouts. Alone I have contacted over 100+ firms that operate within the UK – from the likes of Great Western Railways to a regional 6 store bakery; in an effort to push for the implementation of contactless payment and educate stores that already have compatible technology on how to implement alongside benefits of doing so.
Uber Licensing One of the UK’s first mobile app operated taxi platforms launched in the UK in July 2012; I at the time was one of the first to trial the companies fleet of Mercedes & smartly dressed chauffeurs. Since then; I have been a strong advocate for further rollout of the brand across the UK – including that of town Reading; which licensing was declined due to ‘lack of demand’. I led a petition; which included editorial local paper support – which led to Uber beginning limited operations in the town.
Fujitsu First Month Awards Within my first couple of weeks at Fujitsu, I had earned various awards from management under a scheme called the ‘Thank you’ scheme – I was awarded two ‘Big Thank You’s’. Due to taking on management responsibility for important tasks during absence, liaising with other departments and hosting conference calls to resolve issues.
ITILL Certified In January 2016, I completed my ITILL Foundation framework certification. With this course & certification, I now have greater awareness of the standard IT practises and the understanding of the best practice framework of the IT industry.
Retail Marketing IT Roadshows In August 2014, I took part in a UK IT Roadshow. This involved travelling with the company from central London to Edinburgh, stopping at major cities along the way. My role was to ensure all of our field staff had the best experience possible from IT. Whilst also ensuring that all IT issues, from Mobile Phones to Laptops and Tablets we’re fully Functional.
Tanzania Charity and Safari Visit My hard working nature was awarded by my full time employer in late 2013. Through a Charity Trip to Tanzania and Safari in the centre of Africa, in February 2014. With fellow work colleagues we flew to Tanzania, Africa to do small parts for the aid of the country as well as analyse how we can help in future efforts. I had been nominated by numerous colleagues in the company due to always going above the call of duty.
